Tthat is so true, Howard. So true!

A lot of people think the role of a trainer is to impart 20 years of accumulated knowledge in 5 days. Absolute rubbish. Nobody can do that. And even if someone could, no one could learn all that in such a short time.

The truly competent trainer does however impart the attitude to work and knowledge that those 20 years bring. That is the true measure of the value of a training class as opposed to what can be learned from a book.

IME, a training class comes first. Then the books. Same as in Uni really.
