Whenever Redhat issues an update to a core package (like glibc) it is exactly the same one for RH 7.1 & 7.2.

Note that some parts of Oracle (Intermedia) will not run with glibc in 7.2 or glibc updates in 7.1 or 7.2, but you can bug oracle support and they'll provide the adhoc patch.

If you don't feel concerned by RedHat advisories, keep vanilla RH 7.1, Oracle will install on it out of the box. On the other hand if you feel like applying them (because generally RedHat won't touch glibc if there isn't a very serious problem), go 7.2, you'll have a more solid system, less RedHat patches to apply, and the effect on Oracle will be exactly the same as a 7.1 udated install.
