Indeed. One DBA tried to convince me that the best way to manage tables and spaces was to have a tablespace for each table. Given that we ran OPS with 700+ tables on raw devices, this would have been an absolute nightmare to manage.

Sometimes I wonder what happened to him. Probably somewhere trying to figure out which file he forgot to backup!
