Senora is a drop-in sqlplus replacement written in perl.Senora intends to become your primary Oracle shell. In contrast to sqlplus, it is extensible via plugins which add new commands and incorporate them into Senora's help system. For example, the DataDictionary plugin allows one to reverse-engineer code from the DataDictionary, and the Tuning plugin provides commands for profiling and performance analysis.

Changes: New features such as an overhauled help system, an enhanced Tuning plugin and included profiler, more unix-like commands (cat, grep, head, etc.), and a 'recompile' command were added. Bugfixes were also added. Received on Fri Jan 04 2002 - 17:19:52 CST
