ORA 12560 only on IMPORT

Hi,

I use Oracle 8i, and have set up my listener and services. SQL*plus and othe r applications successfully access the database.

But the IMPORT function returns a ORA-12560 (concerning TNS). I cannot even log to the DB.

How is this possible ?
