Hello...

I plan on having two sets of raid mirrored harddrives. Each drive will have two partitions, (drive #1 will have C and D, and drive #2 will have E and F.)

From a Recovery standpoint - what's the best partition for the Oracle 8.1.7 program to be on? I know the Win2k-server will be on C, and all my tablespaces will be on E. I'll have one set of Archived Redo Logs and Control Files on E, F, and D. Cold Backups using backup exec.

Is there a RECOVERY advantage to have the Oracle program installed on D? or E?

Thx,
D. Received on Tue Dec 04 2001 - 14:33:33 CST
