Hi Michael,

I believe it's OS level. Why should veritas be interested in oracle extent fragmentation (or solve it without oracle's help). Datafiles get fragemented during creation if the filesystem is not brand new.
If the filesystem has grown old (files were created, modified in size and /or deleted)
the filesystem becomes fragemented just like oracle datafiles.

No ideas regarding the ksh script.
