log on to http://otn.oracle.com and sign up for a free membership. Then download the concepts manual and read it - this will give you a very good introduction to Oracle and what it does and will prepare you for any further tuition.

You can even download a free copy of Oracle for personal use so that you can put your learning into practice - mind you, I wouldn't do it on a 36K modem link !!

I'm afraid I have no URL's for tuition - someone else will probably post a few :o)
