You could consider using SQL*XL, the Oracle to Excel bridge. It will allow you to connect to Oracle from Excel and pull data straight into the spreadsheet. The desc command is supported so you can describe your tables and get the results straight into Excel. No hassles with copy/paste, csv files,etc...
