There are no problems moving from an 800 series to a 700 series in this instance. One of our databases was actually running on the 735 when I first joined the company 6 years ago. (It was moved to the H50 currently causing problems at some point. When we upgraded that application for Y2K, I moved it to a D390/2-way.) I had no glitches of any kind moving the database today from the H50 to the 735. It's a pretty light database as far as system activity goes and this 735 has 400MB of RAM. This will be a temporary home for the database. I've located someone who has Oracle 7.2.3 so I'll be moving this database to a D-class server as soon as I can.
