check out the Oracle Template Library which works with O7, O8 and even ODBC and connects to Oracle, and DB2 natively. It makes OCI programming a lot easier, and only requires the #include of a single .h file to get the system up and running.

Granted I don't do much (any) OCI programming, but our developer guru has looked at this package and loves it !

I have a problem. I want to connect my C++ program to the Oracle Database
