This question has been answered soo many times, that it is amazing it keeps
popping up over and over again.
You didn't
- read the net8 troubleshooting manual provided by Oracle - searched the archives of this newsgroup at http://groups.google.com - searched the faq hosted by Jonathan Lewis at http://jlcomp.demon.co.uk - searched http://www.orafaq.com
But anyway for the *last* time
12154 means you don't have the service_name myora in your tnsnames.ora
Now d2k uses a different tnsnames.ora than oracle8i.
You need to keep those two in sync
or set up the TNS_ADMIN registry var in hklm\software\oracle to point to the
correct one.
