8.0.5 to 8.1.7 migration?

I'm preparing to migrate our databases from 8.0.5 to 8.1.7.  I've
already got 8.1.7 running on one Solaris 2.6 box (a new install on a
new E250);  and I've imported the 8.0.5 database into 8.1.7 with no
problems.  I've got two older boxes, both Solaris 2.6, running Oracle
8.0.5.  Should I uninstall the Oracle8 software before installing
8.1.7, or just install on top of it?
