Uninstalling Oracle on win 2000

1.. Shutdown all Oracle related windowns Nt services.
2.. Set all services to Manuall.
3.. Delete the Oralce Home Directory Structure.if you get some
access denied error try to restart the machine.

4.. Dont delete your DataFile folder and you Admin(includes init.ora)

directory structure if you want to keep the Database. 5.. If you want to get Rid of OracleService<SID> , then use oradim utility.

6.. If you want all Oracle related Services should disappear from your

Windows 2000 Service Control, then go in registry and find Out the Names of each serivce in registry and Delete one by one(Not recomended because there are chances of registry to be messed up). 7.. Delete the Oracle Folder , from Hkey Local manchine\Softwares in the registry.

then you are all done.
