It is not clear what you mean by "all the programs now run about 100th the speed of Oracle 7.3.4 .EXE's".

Do you mean SQLLDR, EXP, IMP, SQLPLUS, etc?

I'm running V7.3.4.5, V8.1.7.3 & V9.0.1
