That sounds like you probably got it working, though? If the tables are large and/or the speed between the servers is not so fast (eg, not on the same lan) then you might want to look into offline instantiation. For that, you can't really use the gui tools much but it does work ALOT faster than if you sit and wait for Oracle to replicate the entire table over.
