Hi there,



    
  
  1.   run catexp7.sql as svrmgrl from Oracle 8.x database
  
  2.   Create a tns alias so that you are able to connect FROM Oracle 7.x TO
     Oracle 8.x
  
  3.   Do an export eg exp scott/tiger_at_awt file=blah.dmp direct=y
  
  4.   Import the dump file INTO Oracle 7.x database.
