Hi Joe,

The preferred credentials that must be set are for your servers (nodes) where the export/import are running. Since you have NT/Win2k servers, you must create OS users that have "logon as a batch job" privileges. Once the OS users have been created, you enter this information from within the OEM console: System-->Manage Administrators, then select the administrator who is running the job (probably sysman) pick the Edit option, and select the Preferred Credentials tab. Then scroll down until you find your servers. Select the target server, and enter the OS username and password you just created.

You can find more detail in the OEM Configuration Guide (Chapter 6) available at OTN.oracle.com
