Try a startup. When it throws a wobbly and says that "File 8 (or whatever) needs media recovery", simply issue the 'alter database datafile 8 offline' command. Try an 'alter database open', and it now might throw a wobbly for file 15. Offline that. Repeat as long as is necessary. Eventually, the alter database command will work. Whether you can use anything that's left is a matter of chance.

Let's pray you've got a good copy of file 1 (the system data file).
