Hi Dermot,



seems that your partners are using the OpenLink-ODBC driver. To evaluate this
driver call the odbc-test routine under %oracle_home%\odbc. Use connect button,
select the appropriate computer datasource and your partner should specify
username/pw.


This and connecting through plain sqlplus should give you some hints about the
authentification.
