Installing Designer 6i Rel 3

Hi, all.



The installation notes with Designer 6i Rel 3 indicate that it requires
Oracle 8i Server Rel 2 (8.1.6) or


Oracle 8i Server Rel 3 (8.1.7).



I have Oracle 8i Server Rel 1 (8.1.5) Enterprise Edition.  Has anyone
tried installing and using Designer 6i Rel 3 with this slightly older
version of the server?
