Errors at the end of Oracle 8.1.7 installation

Hi sirs,

I'm trying to install Oracle 8.1.7 client on Redhat 7.1 with kernel 2.4.2-2. However after installation was successful, while Oracle installer was trying to link the Oracle client. I always get these errors:

"Error in invoking target install of Makefile /u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.7/sqlplus/lib/ins_sqlplus.mk"

Anyone know how to resolve this issue?
