During installation, there is a failure associated with shared memory/semaphores.

I am running a single processor Ultra Spark 10 with 392 MB of memory. I set up my /etc/system file with Oracle's recommended settings. However I get the following errors when the database tries to start up:

ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist

The .dbf files get created - however, I don't get any control files. So, even if I edit the init.ora files to create the smallest db possible, Oracle still fails at startup because it can't find the control files.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
