ORA-01274 When trying to run create database command on Oracle 9i, Suse 7.2

Getting this error. Have not got any of the OMF (Oracle Managed Files) parameters set. At a loss here, anyone got any ideas ?

SQL> connect sys/change_on_install as sysdba Connected.
SQL> create database RJS9
  2 maxinstances 1
  3 maxlogfiles 8

  4  datafile '/u01/app/oracle9/oradata/RJS9/system01.dbf' size 200M reuse
  5  logfile  '/u01/app/oracle9/oradata/RJS9/redo01.log'   size 10M ,
