Hi and thanks for your comments..

Still bear in mind that I have installed Oracle on NT and Irix many times with no big problems.. So I can't see why the linux insall should be so much more difficult thant e.g. Irix..

Well, I'll read over the install doc's ONE MORE TIME.. and we'll see..
