      ORACLE® DBAs and developers, now there's a quick and easy way to estimate the size of your tables and indexes on your PDA. Size Estimator© is a shareware application that runs on any PalmOS® compatible handheld device.  Size Estimator© will estimate the size of ORACLE® database tables and indexes, quickly and easily.

      Size Estimator© is a small application (approximately 17Kb) and is therefore very fast.  Just click the type of object for which you'd like to estimate the size.  Choose the block size that the ORACLE database where the object resides.  Enter the Percent Free for the blocks used to contain the object.  Enter the average row size for the object.  Enter the number of rows to be inserted into the object.  Press Calculate!  It's that simple.  The estimated size of the object is then displayed in the lower portion of the screen.  You may select the units (bytes, kilobytes, megabytes, gigabytes) in which to display the size the object. Give it a try! Get Size Estimator©.
