hi,



    To do a better tuning, use either utlbstat and utlestat or use 
statspack for Oracle 8i and get the report.txt and feed it into
www.oraperf.com. It formats the report.txt nicely for you



    Tkprof is a good way also but then you have to sift thru a lot of info.
