I've tried with other error numbers and they correctly display but on this one is simply mute (it doesn't output a byte), like it is for number 13124211241 which obviously isn't in the list. So I deduce 32255 is not in the error description database installed on my machine, neither on the PDF docs available on the oracle site.

Probably it has to do with null clobs and OCI but I really don't know the exact SQL (I could but this would take hours hacking). Are clobs new to Oracle9i or maybe something has changed in the way they are handled (thus the need of a new error message)?

I'm using Oracle9i for linux.

Can someone please run oerr for me on some other os/distribution/release/whatever ?
