Replication - triggering

Hi ,

I am looking for a solution for replicating data between two servers and two DBs.

Short description :

database A, server A, "public access" over the internet, contains two or three tables with data that Internet users can manipulate (users authenticated by password over SSL connection) - that set of data is basicly not important in the mean of data security.

database B, server B, in internal LAN, physically separated from Internet segment, contains more data + those tables that database B contains.

Question : once a week/two weeks/month database B would get disconnected (physically) from the Inet segment and switched to LAN to sync with database A. What kind of replication would You recommend, and, more important, how to make it work in that way (so that replication does not go online, but is triggered after network switch, then stopped after all data is replicated and then database B goes back to internet)

Would be gratefull for ideas/solutions/concepts

regards
