LDAP Name resolution

Hello,

Has anyone gotten LDAP Name Resolution to work on Windows 2000 with OEM 2.2? It seems to add a mysterious comma to the end of the DN when querying the LDAP server,
therefore failing to find the correct entry.

From trace file:

nnflrne: Querying the directory for distinguished name cn=orcl,cn=OracleContext,

nnflqbf: entry
nnflqbf: exit
nnflrne: exit
nnfgrne: Query unsuccessful, skipping to next adapter

Now when I use directory naming from linux Oracle 9.0.1 it connects fine.

From trace file:

nnflrne: Querying the directory for distinguished name cn=orcl,cn=OracleContext

nnflqbf: entry
nnflqbf: exit
nnflgne: entry

My ldap.ora file is identical on both machines and looks like:

DEFAULT_ADMIN_CONTEXT = ""
DIRECTORY_SERVERS= (ldap_server:10389:636) DIRECTORY_SERVER_TYPE = OID Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Thank You Received on Wed Aug 29 2001 - 13:17:01 CDT
