Internally, 512 bytes. Fixed for all SCSI disks in the world. Depending on each partition's cluster size, NT will "string" together as many of these as needed to match the cluster size the partition was created with (2K, 4K, 8K, 16K and even 32K). The SCSI hardware (and even the ATA h/w) will understand this "stringing" as a request to access that multiple of SCSI 512 byte sectors in the disk, consecutively.

It is recommended that you match the ORACLE block size to the partition's cluster size, but there is some flexibility here provided you stay within multiple/sub-multiples of the cluster size.
