What percent a data buffer should have in the SGA when configiring a large database?
This question comes from an online Oracle DBA test. The original question sounds like this:
What percent of a SGA is the data block buffer portion that is contained in a large database?
A: 2; B: 4, C: 8, D: 10
I think Oracle never suggests such a value. Tuning the buffer cache is that the hit ratio is 80%.
