Hi,
after installation of an OS patch NT is no longer startable. I have an OS file level backup of my DB (V 8.0.5). 1)What is the best and/or easiest way to get DB into a (to be) new installed OS?
1a) ORA specific NT question: Aside from environment variables are there files, registry entries, etc to make thing easier? 2)I have a spare V 8.1.7. on an another machine. Is it possible to move ORA files (8.0.5) to this one (and have good reason to believe it works ;-) ?

Thanks
