Memory allocation of Oracle Lite

Hi,
we are looking for a solution of the following behaviour of oracle lite :

We insert new records into the database. Several times each day several records
will be deleted. The amount of data will stay the nearly same. Nevertheless the
file size of polite.odb grows dramatically. What is the reason ? How can we
control/reorganize that ?
