Found the solution for the problem (thanks to
www.deja.com):



unset LANG (unsetenv LANG with tcsh)



No idea why a LANG variable can make a SEGV.
Maybe a developer of Oracle had a bad day or
doesn't want that foreigners use Oracle :-)
