Hi,

After I downloaded the Personal Oracle 8, unzip the file, run setup.exe, when I
move the next screen, where it indicates a 'source' path:
'C:\psoracle81698\STAGE\products.jar' where C:\psoracle81698 is the
directory
to hold unzipped files. and a 'destination' path:
'C:\PSORACLE81698\STAGE\COMPONENTS\ORACLE.SWD.JRE\1.1.7.24\1\DATAFILES\EXPAN
DED\JRE\WIN32\BIN\..\\Oracle\Ora81' as default.

Either I leave the setting like its default or change the 'desination' path to
'C:\Oracle\Ora81', in both case, when click next button, the load progress
shows
for a while then an error message show up, says it has problem to access the stage
area.

This is a PII 200 with 96 MB ram running Windows ME. Enough disk space.

Anyone knows what I did wrong, or there is something I missed?

Thanks for any help. Received on Fri Aug 17 2001 - 16:48:23 CDT
