Hi,

what is the problem with runInstaller? On a fresh installed Suse 7.2 I get a

oracle/Disk1> ./runInstaller
oracle/Disk1> Initializing Java Virtual Machine from ../stage/Components/oracle.swd.jre/1.1.8/1/DataFiles/Expanded/linux/bin/jre. Please wait...
SIGSEGV received at bfffd690 in
/opt/oracle/Disk1/stage/Components/oracle.swd.jre/1.1.8/1/DataFiles/Expanded/linux/lib
/linux/native_threads/libjava.so. Processing terminated
Writing stack trace to javacore10015.txt ... OK

Shouldn't be a problem with my java as runInstaller seems to use its own java.
I don't want to show javacore10015.txt because I can't find useful information
in it.

Any ideas?

Bye and thank you in advance,
