Hi List,



I am just getting my head round the cold backup <shutdown the database
and back up the OS files> or hotbackup <archivelog mode etc>.



But what of exp? A lot of suggestions for backup suggest using a full
exp, but i am not clear on whether this can do a reliable backup on a
running db with users.



This is for 8.1.6/7



Any observations?
