ANSWERED FROM AN MS PERSPECTIVE, OF WHICH, I HAVE NONE. On Wed, 8 Aug 2001, vslabs_at_onwe.co.za wrote:

Performance problem? MS fixes those dynamically. Why would I want to use a database that didn't fix Performance problems itself? Come on, get with this century!

But clippy has helped me with a few queries before. Why should I not use the tools available?

Well, if it doesn't work, I can always reinstall.

Huh? Its all about knowing where to click.

God, you Oracle people live in the dark ages. Nobody reads manuals anymore. Get a REAL database where you don't have to read anything. Its all just there, when you need it.

Bill has all the knowledge I need.

What internals. I get a popup box, I answer it. Why should I need to know anything else?

Like I said, I just reinstall. Why should I spend anytime trying to figure anything out? Just a waste of time and part of old school habits.

I like Vanilla Hazelnut.

I spend most of my day listening to tunes, cause MS has it all under control.
NOTE:
Of course, an MS guy wouldn't have been able to actually
intermingle his replies as was done here, cause that would have
taken a little time in learning how to use some other newsreader
as well.
Oh well, back to reading Jonathan, Tom Kyte, Nuno, Howard ...
Talk to ya.
