The only runInstaller I could find was in Disk1/stage/Components/oracle.swd.oui/1.7.1.8.0/1/DataFiles/Expanded/install/linux I'm wondering if there are symlinks in the tar that haven't come out properly. I manged to create a symlinked structure at the top level where I could run the Installer. But I've not got the products.jar so I can't get past that step of the installation. I'd really like to get my hands on this file without having to download the whole lot again. (Its not often I'm near enough bandwidth to make that a reasonable proposition, and I'm not convinced that anything different would happen). What I do have is 156 sub directories of Disk1/stage/Components. If someone could confirm that this is wrong for this tar then I guess I've got no choice but to download again.

thanks
