Couple of things, firstly, 'xxxxxx' is not a literal password. If you read the docs you will notice that the defalut password for an 817 instance is the word 'oracle'.
xxxxx is used as a mask.

Secondly, rid yourself the habit of using svrmgrl, cause its going away.
817 is the last version to support it.
Instead use sqlplus.
