Virtual Memory Size of Dedicated Server Process

Hi,

I have an instance running on one machine and another instance running on another machine. The only difference between the two are the value set to the parameter SHARED_POOL_SIZE. The virtual memory size of the dedicated server process (just simply a sqlplus session doing nothing) is 135MBytes on one machine and 260MBytes on another machine. Can someone tell me how Oracle allocate memory to dedicated server process? What are the components of the dedicated process?

Thanks
