The first step would be to determine the requirements that needs to be met. Then
decide on how to measure Oracle's performance in meeting these requirements.



IMO there is no such thing as a "simple benchmark" - besides the party tricks
DBA's like to pull when showing off Oracle to the pinks without slack.
