Hello,

the search for which table or view "does not exist" can sometimes be painfull.

Therefore we would like to make the Oracle exception: "ORA-00942: table or view does not exist" somewhat more meaningfull, ic to get an idea about which table or view is actually not found!

Our idea was first to trap the excpetion by a trigger which fires after an servererror, followed by identifying the last excuted sql statement. The problem was getting the actual statement causing the error message.

Anyone any idea how to solve this?

Any suggestions welcome.
