Hi,
Can anybody give me some advice how to solve this problem?
For education purposes I have installed Oracle 8i. Everything seems running
good when I am using standard OEM from Oracle 8i installation CD.
Bud I need install Advanced OEM with Diagnostic, Tuning & Change Management
packs. And after installation Advanced OEM I meet with problems. When I have
installed Oracle Server and Standard OEM, after installation Adv. OEM I
can't even start Listener.
So I uninstalled Oracle software and reinstalled Oracle Server without OEM.
Then I install Advanced OEM. Now my listener has no problem starting, but
Oracle Server do.
I have this error message: Oracle.exe - Entry Point Not Found: The procedure entry point kpcddtasg could not be located in the dynamic link library oracommon8.dll
I have installed Server + OEM many times, but only at very first time I had no problems. Because I would like get experiences with installation process as well, I reformatted my test WinNT machine, Installed WinNT, and Oracle Server. I have no problem until I try installing Advanced OEM. After that I can't run oracle services like TNSListener or OracleService<SID>.
That installation of Advanced OEM ver. 2.2.0.0.0 installing upgrades to several files from original Server installation (ver 8.1.6) to ver 8.1.7.
Thank you,
