I have Oracle 8.0.6 running on an NT box.

Up until last week, client software could connect to the Oracle server via ODBC and so on, no probs.

Over the weekend the network guys decided to shove the server behind a firewall.

Now, client no longer "sees" the server.

I can ping it.

I can tnsping it

I can't sql*plus it, or connect via ODBC Test or Net8 Assistant. Error message TNS 12503 (or was it 12502).

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
