G,

I'm running on the following:

        UE450/2G RAM/1.85G SGA(I know this should be less, but it works)/1DB (OLTP)         UE3500/1G RAM/920M SGA(I know...)/1DB (OLTP)

        Netra1125/512M RAM/400 SGA (I know...)/1DB (OLTP)/Oracle 9i

        etc...

Perhaps because I didn't know about the SGA size guidelines when I otherwise
set everything up to proper standards, is why I'm using more swap but I don't
believe so. I was getting "runnable but swapped" on the UE3500, so I backed of
on the Shared Pool a bit and the problem went away.

My main guideline was to insure that there were no warnings about ISM at the
beginning of the alert_ORCL.log file.
