Re: Installation of Oracle9i on RedHat 7.1

here is the official note from oracle:

"Note: Oracle9i for Linux is certified on SuSe7.1, Kernel 2.4.4 and the operating system library GNU Lib C 2.2 only."

is it possible for you, that you take a SuSE?

p.s.: I have many troubles installing oracle under the "newest" SuSE (7.2. / Kernel 2.4.4.), so I "downgrade" my
SuSE to 7.0 / Kernel 2.2.x ;-)
