Re: Corrupt block relative dba

Hello,

There are two types of corruptions in oracle

• hard corruptions -- corrupted in hardware level
• soft corruptions --- OK in hardware level, but header and footer of block are in-consistent.

That's why when you look at hardware, you can not see corruption if it's soft(logically) corrupted.
