Re: 8.1.6 with 7.3.4 datafiles

there are two option.
1. Use migration utility to migrate data from 7.3.4 to 8.1.6. Migration does the least work possible to make the datafiles readable by 8.1.6?

2. Export/Import Utility. How to import data for upgraded version database server. After I install the 8.1.6, should I create a new database and then import data from 7.3.4? or Just import whole database and the 7.3.4 database will be upgraded to 8.1.6 automatically? Or should I migrate data first and export and import database after that?

Please clarify, thanks a lot.
